Archaeological Center "Parajchucchu" will be inaugurated as a new tourist destination
A new tourist route will be inaugurated on October 15 in San Rafael. This is the pre-Inca of Parajchucchu Adea (Matihuaca), located two kilometers from San Rafael, Province Ambo. The center is very important since it was declared National Cultural Heritage.
In a press conference the National Institute of Culture and the authorities of the Town of Matihuaca Center, explained that in that place is very peculiar stones, green and blue. This also can identify agricultural terraces and buildings of rectangular structure. One of them is near a spring which probably served an ethnic group "Yarush" (Yaros).
In presenting the report, was attended by the regional director of Culture, Carlos Ortega and Obregon, who urged the media to spread the charm of this area Denesy Arch Palacios, a teacher of History of ISMDM, Augusto Condor Janampa and Matihuaca authorities. Later
presented an extensive calendar, ranging from sports, dances, saves 21 camaretazos, etc. which aims to draw attention of tourists.
